  1. My wife and I went there to get her a cell phone life saver. She dealt with that while I checked out tv’s, audio, computers etc. I asked lots of questions. All staff we both encountered were super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Prices were good or better. Quality of merchandise was exceptional. We both highly recommend this store.

  2. 06/23/22-About a month ago we were looking to get new appliances, so stopped at Best Buy. We were assisted by Tyler who was very friendly, courteous, professional and informative. He referred us to a home 🏡 assessment representative named Julian. From start to finish Julian was awesome 👌 making himself available at all times for any questions we had. Cannot say enough good things about him.

Last we would like to thank the service technicians (Eric, Juan, David, and Nate), who were very professional 👏, informative, and helpful. Excellent customer service 👏 👌 👍 and highly recommend them for any and all jobs 👍. Thank you very much!

  3. Best Buy has the absolute worst business model of any of the big box stores. There is no option to call the local store (Springfield, Or.) and discuss an issue with someone concerning a purchased item. I was given Mr. Steve Johnson Jr’s card to contact him should I need assistance. After three unanswered emails, I finally decided to contact their centralized customer service, since apparently Mr. Johnson was not concerned about my problem (and he is the appliance manager). During a brief telephone conversation with a help desk person, I was informed he would need a few minutes to research my purchase. After being placed on hold for 44 minutes, I hung up. Where is the service???
I drove the 50 miles back to Best Buy to return the defective item and was greeted by Ms. Megan Berry. She worked very hard to correct the issue and saved the balance of my order from being cancelled (Refrigerator, Washer and Dryer). Five stars to Ms. Berry as she did call me twice since then to keep me updated on the delivery of the balance of the order. No stars to Mr. Johnson Jr, who has shown no customer service abilities in my case.
Don’t expect after sale service from your local Best Buy, unless you want to pay extra for it!

  4. Lost my laptop charger and was anticipating at least minimal complications getting a replacement today (my work doesn’t exist without my laptop [of course I have backups, but that doesn’t help me write code today]).
Pete in electronics knew exactly what I needed, (in addition to knowing that Watts = Volts x Amps), and found a non- traditional solution where a less tech-knowledgeable person wouldn’t have been able to. As an engineer I appreciate his expertise & problem-solving, and as a customer I enjoyed his demeanor & professionalism. Thanks!

  5. We went in for a TV we saw online. Was greeted when we entered but was not offered help once in the TV department. A few employees walked by us, a few times. We finally asked for some help, price check and confirmation that the TV had this or that. And went to the checkout at front. The store is like others we’ve been to. Clean, organized although it would have been nice to see prices on the inventory they had out on the floor (TVs). The cashier was super nice. We had some issues and he asked a manager for help, she was very helpful. She knew immediately what the issue with the gift card was and how to resolve it. She was very nice as well.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I hope they are well paid because everything is expensive. Also they didn’t have any direct drive bass pedals in stock. Had to order from somewhere else. Still, it’s a happy place for me, even if I am poor lol.

Stopped in today @ 2:30pm to buy a pair studio monitors. No recognition from the staff of 4 working up front of my presence, instead they were focused on whatever video was on one of their cell phones. I went back to the pro audio section, looked around for a bit, and of course they had the Yamaha speakers I wanted at a price comparable to what you can find online, but the lack of customer service deterred me from the immediate gratification of purchasing them today, instead I will go with an online vendor. Loss of a $600 plus purchase for this location.

Staff was friendly and helped us purchase a guitar, but the way the lessons are being ran is a bit ridiculous. I paid for what I was told were 4 lessons. The first one we accidentally missed, I understand that’s our bad. The second lesson we were there and it went great. The 3rd week we got a call on the day of the lesson to see if we could come in earlier because other lessons had canceled. Sure. Then we got another call that our instructor was actually sick and had to cancel that day. Ok. The 4th week we call just before our normal lesson time to confirm and be sure we don’t waste the gas, only to find out we apparently missed the lesson because it’s scheduled at the earlier time indefinitely. The lesson staff aren’t in so when they call me back the next day we figure out the lesson time, but then I’m told they need payment information again because my automated payment wouldn’t go through. …What automated payment? I definitely never agreed to that. I’m then told it’s like a monthly subscription. I asked what about the 2 lessons that never happened? I’m then told well yes they don’t charge if it’s a reasonable excuse and we notify them 2 days in advance but the instructors have to be compensated for their time. So I ask how am I being charged for the whole month when the instructor was sick once and then we were incorrectly scheduled once? At this point I’m just frustrated so I canceled the “subscription”. I didn’t ask for a refund for half the month, but I feel like I should be entitled. Or schedule the other 2 lessons I paid for without expecting additional payment? I’m new to the guitar world, thus the lessons, but this has been discouraging

Great place to come and play guitar and browse. I’m getting a Taylor here eventually! I love their selection. I got myself a gibson already! Definitely a good place to come for someone who loves music or a musician.

One of the best stores in all of downtown Eugene. Been doing business buying and selling with them for 20+ years. Wide selection of cool posters, stickers, art work, t-shirts, video games, movies, and vinyl. Downtown wouldn’t be the same without them. Support your local Epic Seconds and say hi to my friends Ben and the guys who’ve worked there all these years. They’re good people I’ve always considered my friends who provide an awesome service and products at a discounted price you cant find anywhere else. Below are some of my most recent purchases as I have been adding more classic vintage vinyl diamonds to my collection. Thank you to Everyone at Epic Seconds!!

Good little used media store. Good prices. Good selection. Video games, movies, music etc on all formats including NES and vinyl records. I’ve never gotten a disc in bad shape. I’ve purchased dozens of things here.

A really great store with tons of games for older and newer consoles and controllers, also they have a vinyl area upstairs. Another thing is that they will Buy, Sell, and Trade almost anything. All together it’s a good place.

I went there to sell a few vinyls, the guy working was friendly and knowledgeable. The store was very clean and seemed to be constantly maintained. They had a large variety of records, video games and accessories and media in general. I would absolutely recommend to friends as well as go back.

Lots of great options, was really cool seeing older consoles being put up for sale here. Gives a better option than trusting eBay with such purchases.
